Mommy's News (Issue 10) Storm #2
Greetings from the McKay-Dee NICU. Today has been another stormy day for little Jonah. This morning it was looking like he would be transported to Primary Children's Hospital for surgery on his bowels. It was suspected that part of his bowels had died and would need to be removed. This is a major surgery and a scary one at that. By this afternoon the doctors decided that his bowels were probably not the problem. It is now thought that his nasty infection is what is causing his digestive track to have so many problems. It is hard to know at this point what tomorrow might bring. SO we'll continue to pray that he is able to fight his infection and as a result his digestive track will start working again.
