Happy 4th on the 5th of July!
Riverside, the little town where Dave's parents live, had their big 4th of July celebration today. Jonah and I got in on the last event prior to the fireworks... the Layne Family Singers! Dave's parents both sang while being accompanied by Dave's big brother Andy. Then Andy did a solo and his daughter Shalei did a guitar solo. They all did a wonderful job and Jonah seemed to enjoy himself. We had planned on watching the fireworks from my in-laws front lawn but Jonah kept signing, "Mommy, Bye-Bye!" Meaning, "Mommy I want to go home!" So we left. Maybe Jonah will decide to check them out next year!
