Mommy's News (Issue 268)
Not much has changed today. Jonah is still on 4 liters on his oxygen. The doctors have started weening his Morphine by lengthening the interval at which it is administered from every 6 hours to every 8. He seems to be tolerating it well. He also received his last doses of antibiotics this afternoon. Jonah will appreciate that change the most. The antibiotics really hurt his tummy! His g-tube sight is still leaking occasionally but seems to be healing slowly. The doctors are very doubtful that Jonah will be ready to come home by our target date of June 22. Maybe with enough prayers we can get Jonah back on track to come home soon.
