1st day of Vacation
Today was a lot of fun. After I finished up with class we had the opportunity to go over to the piers and watch some of the ships come into port, and tie the ship to the dock. We visited the aviation side of the base and then came home for a nap. Then we went out for my birthday dinner to Outback Steakhouse. It was soooo very good!!! Jonah was very very good during dinner. It was our first time taking him out to a restaurant. Every one would pass and say hello to him, and then give Tanya a dirty look because we were eating and he was not. It was funny. Tanya and Kara at one of looks out over the bay in Norfolk. the ship just before the mooring lines were thrown to the dock. This is the color guard waiting to hoist the colors once they have bee docked. This is a bad picture, but you can see sailors a long the rails as they come into port.
