Mommy's News (Issue 272)
What a great day it has been. Jonah continues to tolerate his narcotics being weened. The plan is that tomorrow we will ween his Oxygen down to two liters. I get more anxious to bring him home with each passing day. We had a dear friend at McKay-Dee tell us once that when it was time to take Jonah home we would "Just Know" and she was exactly right. Yesterday Dave and I looked at each other and said to each other and said, It's Time! We feel that we are ready to take on the challenge of caring for our little boy day in and day out! I had a heart to heart with the doctors to let them know that we want him HOME. They restated the items that we are waiting to get under control before he can leave and from the sounds of it it could be as soon as two more weeks. Now this is the best case scenario and we all know that Jonah has a history of taking the "Scenic Route" as "Grandma" Diane would say. So we continue our long wait. Jonah made Mommy SOOOO P...
