A busy bee
So this morning I knew we had a visit from the IHC nurse to check Jonah's blood pressure and weight. Jonah weighs 8.5 kilos which is about 18.5 lbs, and is 27.25 inches long. blood pressure was very good today. 105/62. We are very excited about this. Just when Jonah and I became settled in and I was eating a snack, I saw the speech and occupational therapist, so we played for an hour. They were so very impressed with Jonah and the way he is developing. The OT re-evaluated Jonah and said he is using his fine motor skills at a 7.5 to a 10 month old. So in human terms, Jonah is almost caught up to his adjusted age in his fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are using his fingers and hands to manipulate objects and bring them to his mouth, and the way he grabs for things. Jonah received 4 shots today at the pediatrician, 1 year immunizations. They advised us to expect Jonah to have a fever for a few days and we could give him tylenol to help reduce the fever.
