Jonah weighs 12 lbs 4 oz. and is 23 inches long. what a big boy. We were told by his Uncle Mitch that Jonah is only two pounds behind Maddy, Jonah's cousin that was born two days earlier. He looks darling in his new outfit. Today Jonah received and NJ tube. this tube goes through his stomach and into the intestines. This style of feeding tube should help reduce the refluxing that Jonah is having. They are introducing an new drug to Jonah, erythromycin, this should help the motility, to help the digestive process move things along a bit quicker, which should also help with the refluxing. The only fluid Jonah is getting in his stomach is that which he takes from a bottle. They are now mixing the breastmilk with rice cereal to thicken it. Kind of exciting, maybe one day we will try feeding him with a spoon. We also heard some news about the Nissan surgery, properly called "fundal placation." TENTATIVELY , Jonah will be sent to Primary's next monday, April 6th. ...
