Mommy's News (Issue 61)
Oh, it has been a LONG day today! Jonah's tummy x-ray looked a little worse this morning. The Doctors wanted to put a PIC line in to minimize the number of pokes Jonah would receive as he gets a ton of meds. over the next week or two. Their numerous attempts this morning failed and left Jonah mad as a hornet and unable/unwilling to breath on his own. As a result he had to be re-intabated (put the breathing tube back unto his lungs). After a short nap Dr. Clark came to the rescue. He attempted to put the PIC line in the right side of his neck. This attempted again failed. Next he tried the left side and BINGO! Finally! Now, back to the tummy issue. This is a potentially serious condition. As a result Mommy was a WRECK all morning to hear that things weren't improving. Luckily God sent an angel named Debbie to relieve Mommy at work so that she could be with Jonah on this difficult day. After Jonah's cares at 5 he and Mommy got to have snuggle time for an hour and...
