Monday
Today, well this morning, was a particularly uneventful day. I ran between stores trying to fit small enough blood pressure cuffs to different types of automated blood pressure machines. Failing to find the right combination, I purchased a pediatric cuff that operates the old fashion way. I was very uncomfortable taking a blood pressure on Jonah so I called Tanya's sister, Morgan, to come and help out. She did a great job. The new medicine is working, and Jonah's body is starting to adjust to the medicine. After a long talk with a wonderful friend and a person who has a wealth of knowledge in preemie children we have concluded that Jonah's irritability is being caused by Jonah's teeth. Poor little guy. He and I had a super long nap today from 2 - 4 pm. Jonah stayed in his sleepy daze until bed time at 7 pm. After some Tylenol Jonah is doing much better.
