An Interesting Descovery!
Today we made an interesting discovery, Jonah likes the taste of his formula. How do we know...? He ate/swallowed just over 20 Ml at his 5:00 pm feeding. Jonah has become very proficient at swallowing his Tylenol. We just load .8 mls in the dropper and put it in his mouth and he swallows. Today I asked him if he was ready for his Tylenol and he smiled and stuck out his tongue. This is Jonah's way of telling us Yes. So i administered the medication and he smiled. I had the genius idea that if he was comfortable swallowing his Tylenol from a dropper then maybe he would take formula the same way. So I warmed up 20Mls and gave it a try. He swallowed it down like a champ, 1 ml at a time. This is the most we've been able to get him to swallow in a VERY, VERY, VERY, Long Time!!! To top it off he ws happy and smiling the whole time. He may have taken more had I offered it to him. We'll try again tomorrow!
