Shocked and Amazed...
Today Jonah left his Speech therapist in shocked amazement at the vast amount of progress he has made in his speech in the last 7 days. At one point she just shook her head and muttered that this type of progress was very out of the ordinary! Jonah is showing some great problem solving skills today. He was in his "Big Wheels" and I noticed that his tray was coming loose so I tightened it and in the process I ended up moving it's placement a bit. This caused a problem for Jonah. It made it impossible for Jonah to push his wheels without getting his thumbs pinched between the lid of the tray and the wheels. Jonah stopped and thought about it for a minute then he opened the lid and successfully pushed himself across the room! I went and visited a friend this afternoon after Dave got home and when I got home I was pleased to see that Daddy had been able to elicit more physical independence! Enjoy the video.
