Well just as we expected Jonah was moved back to the oscillator today. The Draeger (regular) ventilator is sitting right next to his bed still because the nurses anticipate that he will go back to it some time tomorrow. We are not at all distraught over the frequent changes, in fact , we are glad to see it because it means that he is growing and is lungs are getting a bit better. Jonah is still getting antibiotics and they seem to helping.

Jonah had a few changes today. He is now living in a new home. It was time to change his incubator this morning and rather than putting him back in a giraffe bed he was put in a lower tech. isolette. He seems quite comfortable. He was also changed to the regular ventilator. His settings are about as high as that ventilator can offer so if he has a bad gas he'll be put back on the oscillator. But for now he seems to be doing well and sleeping peacefully.
