Dr. Lee's Happy Dance!
You know things are going well when the Dr. stands up and does an all out HAPPY DANCE! Today we went to see Dr. Lee (the lung Dr.) to get the results from Jonah's sleep study. We quickly discussed all that had happened with Jonah's health since our last visit in August. I reported that Jonah had gotten sick a couple times but that he's been able to get over the illness with the help of the extra inhalers he'd prescribed. He clarified that there had been no hospital stays, and no ER visits then got up and literally danced around the room! He told his Dr. Student that this was a huge deal and proceeded to fill the med student in on Jonah's history. My heart lightened at his joy of Jonah's progress and I was again reminded why I appreciate good Dr.s soo much. The rest of the visit went well. He told us that according to the results of the sleep study Jonah will need to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. In REM sleep Jonah averaged 1...
