Jonah got an early start to his Monday with an 8:00 appointment with the ENT Dr. Barlow in Ogden. The visit went very well. Dr. Barlow agrees with us that Jonah's left vocal chord is still paralyzed. He says that there is still a chance that the nerve could regrow and make the chord work again or that his right chord could learn to pull double duty to give our little angel a voice. There is also the chance that he will always be without a voice, in our eyes this is a minor glitch that can be worked around. Jonah has required Tylenol twice today to help with his teeth. They seem to really be bothering him. Hopefully one of our upcoming blogs will be titled "Jonah's First Tooth"

It has been two days with no big bowel movements. Jonah has had some smaller ones but nothing like his usual full diapers. We gave him a suppository, which he did not like, waited one hour with no response. I think while mom is in Ogden at an ENT appointment she may stop by the doc's to see if she can help or suggest any ideas. Jonah has picked up one of Dad's bad habits already. When Tanya reads in the car, and Dave wants to bug her, he sticks his hand on the page she is reading. Jonah did this to Tanya tonight. Tanya called me and said, "Why did you teach your son this annoying trick?" It was funny, Jonah already knows how to annoy mommy with out the help from dad!!! Tanya is going to be in TROUBLE!!!!! Double trouble.
