Mommy's News (Issue 20)
Today has been a up and down day. We've had good news and bad. The good news is that Jonah's labs aren't getting any worse, his tummy x-ray is looking better, and he has started to poop again. The bad news is that little Jonah's head is getting bigger at an alarming rate. Over the past 2-3 days his head had grown 3 cm. This is due to the brain bleeds we saw on day 9. We're told that if this trend continues our son will be transferred to Primary Childrens to have a reservoir put in. A reservoir is a temporary drain inserted into the top of the head that will allow the nurses and doctors to draw out any extra fluid that builds up in Jonah's head. So we are back to waiting...
