Mom's vs. Dad's
I learned something this morning about how mom's and dad's wants and likes about babies. As I got Jonah out of the tub and ready to dress when Tanya pops in and says, "Ooooh, can I pick out his clothes?" So here is my thoughts on Moms vs Dads thoughts on having a baby. Dad: 1. look out the window to see what the weather is like and choose the appropriate clothes (i.e. long sleeves for cool weather, short sleeves for warm weather). 2. If it's time for a bath, get the job done and get out, if its time for anything do it. Mom: 1. They love babies because it is the adult version of playing with Dolls. Dress them up, do there hair, and re-live their childhood games of playing dolls. 2. They dig through the dresser to see which clothes are the cutest and find a matching set, down to the socks. Jonah has had a pretty good day, Tanya mentioned this morning that when she looked at Jonah he looked a little more grown up.
