Poor Jonah is sick again! Long about 3 this morning he woke me with his moaning. I picked him up and realized he was burning up. He had a fever of 103 and he seemed to have a sore throat. When he coughed he would desaturate into the 70s! (thats not good) and he was needing 7/8 of a liter of Oxygen (also not good) and to top it off Jonah's heart rate was staying around 180 bpm or higher. So I started alternating Tylenol and Ibuprofen every three hours and praying. I knew that if we couldn't get things under control quickly we'd be headed to PCMC again. At 6 I woke up Gaga and called Uncle Mitch to help give Jonah a Priesthood Blessing. It was a beautiful blessing and I felt at peace. It wasn't an hour later that Jonah started calming down and by late morning he was acting more and more like himself. I am so grateful for the power of the Priesthood! This evening Jonah is still holding his own but nights always seem to be a lot harder. Hopefully he's over ...

It has been a long day, but a good one. We started the day off with the Selman Reunion. While I ate breakfast Jonah was serenaded by two of my cousins. He loved it! Then we watched Jonah's cousins do some fishing in the pond. Long about 2:30 we decided to head home to see if Jonah would take a much needed nap. He was asleep in the car before we ever got to the main road! Then we spend the evening at the Pali house. Mitch was giving the kids "airplane" rides and when he was done Maddy let us know that it was her turn to give Jonah am airplane ride. This made us all giggle a little but Mich helped Maddy to lock her knees while I held Jonah on her feet. Then when we thought we'd had all the fun a person could stand Maddy told us that it was Jonah's turn to give her a ride. So here we are helping fulfill Maddy's request. The highlight of the evening was watching Jonah hit a major milestone...Pulling to stand! I positioned Jonah in front of Maddy's pink...
