Jonah got an A+ at the Dr. today!!!
I'm such a proud Mommy today, My son has received his first A+. Today we went to PCMC to visit with Dr. Such-Neibar. She works in rehabilitation. The last time she saw Jonah was a week before he was discharged from the NICU. She was astonished by all the progress he has made in the last 5 months of being at home. I've always harbored the feeling that Jonah would probably require a wheelchair for a while until his gross motor skills could catch up. After today's appointment I am hopeful that we may be able to bypass the wheelchair altogether. That would be awesome!!! After the appointment Mamaw and I had a few errands to run so we took turns sitting in the van with Jonah. By the time we left Ogden Jonah was tired and mad, but Daddy saved us again. Before Dave left he recorded 5 one minute clips of him talking to Jonah. I played Dave's prerecorded messages over and over all the way home and as long as Jonah could hear Daddy he was fine.
