Mommy's News (Issue 38)
Well, life never goes quite the way you plan it. We were hoping that by the end of today we would be back "home" at McKay-Dee this; however is not the case. Primary Children's was ready to release Jonah all that we were waiting on was the insurance to come through. Our insurance refused to pay for the back transport and should the need arise to return to Primary Children's they would refuse to pay for that as well. So it is time that I change my attitude and make the best of our situation. Now, about our son. He has had a pretty good day thus far. His lungs are still the number one concern. Today the nurse took out Jonah's PIC line and his Arterial line. They have also increased his feedings from 10ml to 15ml 8 times a day.
