Today The NICU staff decided that Jonah was no longer a dirty baby!!! He was considered dirty because he left the NICU and has been home. They took some stool samples today to check for various things: to check for the Rotavirus-negative, and to see how much nutrients Jonah is recieving from his formula - we don't have the results from that yet. Tanya said that they have cut back on the amount of formula from 43 mLs to 41 mLs, because Jonah is developing baby boobies, which means he is gaining to much wieght to fast. The meds are continued to be tweeked, to try and get the correct combination of meds to keep Jonahs body in homeostasis. Hope you enjoy the video. Jonah is trying to suck his thumb, but can't becuase of a heating pack that was put on his hand to warm it up before they poke him for some blood.

Happy Father's day to every one out there, Dads. Today was a pretty calm day for Jonah. Jonah will be started on a different steroid tomorrow, decadron- not sure if i spelled that one right. This is a very potent steroid that Jonah will most likely go home on and be on for a couple of years, every other day. Jonah has been sleeping most of the day and has played with mom, dad, and various nurses, most of the nurses whom have ever met Jonah, check-up on him at least once a shift, most of the time more, to see how he is doing. I think they just come to see a baby smile at them. He has turned into quite the flirt!!!
