2 Brothers Layne

It has been such a wonderful Sunday here at the Layne residence.  Daddy got Jonah all decked out in his Easter outfit complete with spiky hair.  Jonah looked so Dashing and grown up.  I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture.  Jonah is so full of stories lately.  He told us when he woke up from his nap that he had a dreamed about Jesus.  He said the God told him to go to Nineveh but Jonah was too scared so he went and "Boarded a ship".  then a big storm came "and the people tied me up and said BYE BYE!  and threw me overboard"  Then a whale swallowed me up and spit me out on dry land, "Petoooey!!!!"  We laughed and laughed.  We've obviously read the story of Jonah and the whale a few times. We've got Daddy all ready for his trip in the morning.  He has made sure that I'll be well looked after in his absence and that the house will be tidied up so I don't overdo it.

Jonah and I have had a pretty uneventful day as too much activity starts my contractions.  Jonah asked today if he could go to school.  He misses his teachers and friends.  I'm so glad he likes school, it'll make Monday's return to school so much easier!  When Daddy got home we got his bags all packed and ready for New Orleans on Monday.  Overall a very pleasant day!
