Happy 1st Birthday Caleb

Please know that this post is going to be posted in parts... It will undoubtedly take me a few days to get this done complete with pictures!

 Happy first birthday Caleb!  I can hardly believe my baby is already a year old. Caleb's stats. Height... Weight... Head circumference ....  He is in the ... Percentile!  Caleb is a somewhat picky eater, he loves yogurt, blueberries, chocolate, ice cream, muffins, crackers, and corn on the cob.  He loves to be near big brother and to Try to do he is doing.  Caleb loves his doggies and video chatting with Daddy.  If Caleb ever sees a cell phone laying around he'll put it to his ear and jabber, Da Da Da!  He loves to bath with Jonah at bed time and play in the water.  Caleb is getting into everything with his self created scoot.  He is pulling to stand at everything and lives to play in the dogs' water bowl under the kitchen sink.  Caleb is a charmer with his big blue eyes and sweet personality.  He is quick to blow kisses and to give Mommy a quick snuggle.

This is Jonah hanging out in his new ride. We got this over the summer from a yard sale for $1. Jonah seems to really like it. His favorite part is that it vibrates and rocks! Jonah has again been taken off the high flow nasal canula and put back on a regular canula. This is a step in the right direction. He has had a pretty good day and he nursed full feedings at both 5 and 8 tonight! I am very curious as to how far reaching Jonah's "Fan Club" is. If you are like me you are content to avidly read a blog but too self conscious to make a comment. Mommy's News (Issue 279)

Some of the Advice given to us today before we left was serious and funny. We will be ever grateful to all the nurses, docs, NPs, and all the other medical team members that we have never realized helped with the progression and development of Jonah. And not to for get every one who reads this blog!!! A funny story was related today to us when some one asked if we would be offended if they gave us some of their gently used baby clothes. This story is titled, "Mommy I got clean balls!" as stated by a toddler. Mommy came into the house after a long day at school, and asked her child do you need to go to the potty? The little boy had been home most of the day with grand dad, the little boy replies, "No mommy I got clean balls." The mom turns on grand dad to let him have it for teaching the toddler inappropriate language, not to mention it sounded very crude!!! Grand dad looked at his daughter and said, "Footballs, basketballs, baseballs, soccer balls."...
